This trail is just one of a dozed up in the Honolulu Forest Watershed area. It’s on roundtop dr and can be found easily. It’s a nice little hike and family friendly. There are other trails that you can use to make this into a loop but we didn’t do that today. It’s an enjoyable valley hike with some views of Waikiki and Honolulu. Though the views off the side of the road are better since they are less obstructed. The particular trail cuts right along the middle of the valley and comes out the other side to Tantulus dr.
I’m definately gaining stamina. I never would have been able to do 4.5 miles in 2.5 hours. It sounds slow but taking into account that it’s not a flat surface and that climbing up and down off stones etc slows a person down it’s really not slow at all.
